Hosts Russia and the United States maintained their perfect records today as they reached the semi-finals of the International Swimming Federation Women’s Water Polo World Cup in Surgut.

Rachel Fattal scored four goals and Amanda Longan made 13 saves in a 15-5 quarter-final win for the US over China at the Olympic Reserve School Sports Complex.

The US will now meet Spain in tomorrow morning's semi-final, following the latter's 17-3 win over New Zealand.

Russia were even easier winners in their quarter-final.

They beat South Africa 26-0.

Now they will meet Australia, who won a tight match against Canada 9-6.
