Hosts Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago both recorded massive wins to maintain their 100 per cent records at the Netball World Cup Americas qualifier in Bridgetown.

Both sides have won all five of their matches in the eight-team round robin event at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium.

The top two at the end of the competition will advance to the 2019 World Cup in English city Liverpool with two days of matches left to go.

Barbados proved too strong for United States, romping home 76-34.

Trinidad and Tobago steam-rolled past winless Argentina, 112-12.

Grenada maintained the pressure on the top two and also have five wins, but they have played a game more.



They hammered St Maarten 83-19 today.

Elsewhere, there was a third win for St Vincent and the Grenadines who beat Canada 53-44.

Barbados will meet Grenada in a key encounter tomorrow, with Trinidad and Tobago meeting St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The US will play St Maarten in the day's other game.

The hosts are then due to meet Trinidad and Tobago on the last day of the competition.
