The Board of World ParaVolley has appointed its Commission chairs after a general call for applications.
After receiving a total of 22 applications for the positions, the new chairs were all then approved by leadership.
Dr Jurante Kesiene will chair the Classification Commission, whilst Dr Jun Ming Zhang and Dr Jolanta Marszalek will chair the Anti-Doping Commission and Medical Research Commission respectively.
Steve Jones will chair the Coaches Commission and Glynn Archibald the Referees Commission.
The Technical Commission will be chaired by Maciej Chodzko-Zajko, whilst Chris Seilkop chairs the Beach Volleyball Commission.
The Marketing Commission will be chaired by Eugenia de Paolis and Richard Baker will chair the Communications Commission.
Jose Poncio will chair the Development Commission but the Sport Research Commission chair is yet to be announced.
The Athlete Commission Chair and membership will be decided later in 2018.
World ParaVolley President Barry Couzner said: "This represents a nice balance of refreshment and experience as we have a continuation of some existing chairs, and the appointment of some new chairs - a great outcome as we plan for the future for our athletes."
World ParaVolley believes the interest in the positions represents a real desire to assist in the organisation and management of the sport.
The Commission chairs will be expected to hold regular meetings with Commission members to focus on developing World ParaVolley and improving global communication and collaboration in the sport.
The Commissions will use online technology to discuss critical projects with their global members.
