Fenna Kalma scored twice as The Netherlands booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup with a 4-0 win over Ghana in France.

Kalma, Aniek Nouwen and Victoria Pelova found the net for the Dutch team produced a commanding performance in the Group A clash at the Stade de la Rabine in Vannes.

Nouwen broke the deadlock in the 21st minute before Kalma scored a quick-fire double to give The Netherlands a 3-0 lead at half-time.

Pelova's goal ten minutes from time put the gloss on a commanding performance from the Dutch team.

The Dutch side's place in the last eight was confirmed after hosts France drew 0-0 with New Zealand in the day's evening match.

The Netherlands are top of the group with six points and cannot be caught by third-placed New Zealand, who have one point.

In Group B, Ariadina Borges' dramatic late equaliser kept Brazil in the competition as the South American side drew 1-1 with England.

England took the lead when Georgia Stanway converted a 10th-minute penalty at the Stade du Clos Gastel in Dinan-Léhon.

That was how it stayed until stoppage time at the end of the second half as Borges levelled to salvage a point and keep their slim hopes of qualifying for the quarter-finals alive.

Holders North Korea are also still in contention after they beat Mexico 2-1 at the same venue.

England are top of the group on four points, with North Korea and Mexico both on three and Brazil bottom with one.

North Korea occupy second spot in the group and will qualify if they better Mexico's result in the last round of matches.
