Olympic pairs silver medallists Han Cong and Sui Wenjing have returned to China's figure skating training squad.

The duo have spent some time away from the set-up after Sui fractured a bone in her right foot.

Zhao Hongbo, the team's head coach, has now confirmed to Xinhua that they will return to the fold for the next round of training beginning at the Shougang Training Center.

Chinese focus is already on their home Winter Olympic Games in Beijing in 2022.

Han and Sui won Olympic silver at Pyeongchang 2018 in South Korea in February, behind Aliona Savchenko
and Bruno Massot of Germany.

Another pairs team, Yu Xiaoyu and Zhang Hao, are still absent from the training squad due to an injury to Yu.

In singles action, Jin Boyang, who was fourth in the men's competition in Pyeongchang, and the best ranked female Li Xiangning are both in the squad.

Chinese figure skating was embroiled in crisis last month after two judges were suspended by the International Skating Union.

They were found guilty of bias during Pyeongchang 2018 and giving skaters from China "preferential marking".
