Belarus' husband and wife Uladzislau Hancharou and Hanna Hancharova led their respective qualifying competitions at the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Trampoline World Cup in Arosa in Switzerland today.

Hancharou, the reigning Olympic champion, scored 113.800 points to top the bill in the men's final,

Russia's world silver medallist Dmitrii Ushakov was second on 111.920 points and another Russian third in Andrey Yudin.

He scored 111.815 points.

Competition is taking place at the Sports and Conference Centre Arosa in an event doubling as the 50th Nissen Cup, an event named after trampoline inventor George Nissen.

Hancharova then scored 103.905 points to lead the way in the corresponding women's event.

Great Britain's Olympic silver medallist Bryony Page was second, with 102.570 points, and Susana Kochesok of Russia third, on 102.370.

Action is due to continue tomorrow.

A FIG Challenge Cup artistic event is also taking place this weekend at the Mersin Cimnastik Salonu in Mersin in Turkey.
