Hosts and reigning champions the Czech Republic beat Italy in their first game on day two of the European Softball Championships in Havlíčkův Brod, on a day that also saw three matches postponed for rain.
The Czech's first match at the Hippos Arena, the third of the day, finished 13-1 after they beat Belgium 15-0 yesterday.
The result of the Czech Republic's second game today in Group B,also ended in a win against Great Britain, although that match up was much closer, eventually ending 3-2.
All the teams in the competition played twice.
The first match on today was Belgium versus Lithuania, also in Group A.
The Belgian's, third in the 2016 competition, finished 12-4 ahead, having lost to the Czechs yesterday.
Four-and-a-half hours later they then played their second match against Germany, winning 14-2.
Lithuania, meanwhile, played Germany in their second match.
That game finished 20-4 to Germany.
Sweden, who failed to win a single point in the 2016 Championships and lost 30-0 to Denmark yesterday, finally scored a point today.
They did still lose, though, in the second game of the day against The Netherlands in Group B.
That match finished 10-1.
Sweden avoided a second on the same day though, as their second game against Israel was postponed due to bad weather.
The two games due on before that were also called off, meaning the matches between Denmark and The Netherlands and Croatia and Slovakia, as well as the Sweden versus Israel match up, are now due to be played tomorrow
In a match that did go ahead however, the 2016 runners up Denmark built on their emphatic victory over Sweden yesterday with another win, 9-0 against Croatia.
While Israel triumphed over Slovakia in their first game of the day which did go ahead, in group B.
Wednesday's action will see the group stages completed, before the knock out round begins on Thursday.
