Martin Bohman has been re-elected to serve a second four-year term as President of the Czech Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation.

Bohman, a member of the Czech bobsleigh team from 2005 to 2014 who finished 16th in the four-man event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, was confirmed for a fresh term at the organisation's general election meeting.

During a speech to the membership, Bohman targeted winning a medal in junior and senior competition in both Olympic disciplines.

He also set a target of a 10th-place finish in the bobsleigh event at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

Financial stability, high quality member support and technical support were listed as his main goals away from the track in his speech.

Bohman singled out the results of the junior national team, which earned the bronze medal in 2016 and 2017 at the Junior World Championships, for praise in the address to the governing body's members.

Ivo Danilevič, who won a gold medal in the two-man event at the 2007 European Championships, and Pyeongchang 2018 Olympians Jan Šindelář, Jan Mottl and Jaroslav Kopřiva were elected to the Executive Committee at the meeting at the Sports Centre Nymburk.
