Tove Alexandersson made it two victories out of two at the Ski Orienteering World Cup Final in Vermont as Sweden bagged a double in the middle-distance races.

Alexandersson, the overall World Cup leader, won the sprint race yesterday at the International Orienteering Federation's season-ending event.

She was able to double-up at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center at the American venue as she clinched an 11-second win over compatriot Magdalena Olsson.

The winner was timed at 46min 8sec with Olsson clocking 46:19.

Russia rounded-out the podium as Tatyana Oborina was timed at 47.35.

Erik Rost then continued Swedish success by winning the men's race in 45.00.

Sweden sealed another 1-2 as Linus Rapp finished in 45.35 for the silver medal.

Bronze went to Norway and Jørgen Madslien, timed at 45.58.

Long distance races will continue the World Cup Final tomorrow.
