Sweden's Henrik Harlaut won his second gold medal as the Winter X-Games concluded in Aspen.

The 26-year-old clinched top honours in the men's freestyle skiing slopestyle competition to add to his big air victory from yesterday.

Harlaut, who now boasts six Winter X-Games titles in all, managed his high score of 93.00 during his first run at the American resort.

It meant two-time former champion Øystein Bråten of Norway had to make do with silver this time, scoring 92.33 with his final run to just fall short.

Switzerland's Andri Ragettli won bronze on 92.00, again with his last run.

"Since I only had gold in big air, there has been a lot of media, especially in Sweden, that is like, 'oh, Henrik is only a big air skier and is having trouble with slopestyle,'" Harlaut said, according to The Apsen Times

"That just gave me extra motivation and spark to show them wrong, in a way."

Elsewhere, there was gold for Switzerland in the women's skiing big air as Sarah Höfflin clinched the title in Colorado.

She scored 43.00, 43.00 and 41.00 with her best two scores counting for a winning tally of 86.00.

Johanne Killi of Norway won silver on 79.00 and France's Tess Ledeux was third on 71.00.

The men's snowboard superpipe was also decided with Japan's Ayumu Hirano tallying 99.00 for gold.

Australia's Scotty James was just behind, recording 98.00 for silver, as Ben Ferguson won home bronze for the United States on 95.00.

The event also saw Switzerland's Olympic halfpipe champion Iouri Podladtchikov suffer a nasal fracture after a crash.

His injury comes with the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics beginning on February 9 in South Korea.
