Britain have named their squad for the World University Shooting Championships ©World University Shooting Championships

Medal winners from the Commonwealth Games and World Junior Championships have been included among British team members for the World University Shooting Championships in Kuala Lumpur.

Connor Gorsuch, a bronze medallist at the Junior World Championships held in Lonato in Italy, in 2015, is among those due to compete in the Olympic trap event.

He also represents Oxford Brookes University.

Gorsuch will be joined by Kristian Callaghan, a University of Bath student and winner of a 25 metres rapid fire pistol Commonwealth Games bronze medal for England at Glasgow 2014.

He will compete in the pistol events along with University of Bristol's Sammy Darling, Cardiff University's Coral Kennerley and University of Strathclyde's Jess Lidon.

The team will be completed by three rifle shooters: Dean Bale from Cardiff University, West Virginia University's Mike Bamsey and Cardiff Metropolitan University's Emily Bale.

The World University Shooting Championships are due to take place in the Malaysian capital from March 14 to 18.
