South Korea triumphed in the men’s recurve team event on the final day of the 2017 Asian Archery Championships in Dhaka.

Their team of Lee Seung-yun, Lee Woo Seok and Kim Jong-ho eased into the final at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Bangladesh's capital city.

The trio were able to brush aside the challenge of India in the gold medal match, as they triumphed 5-1 to secure the title.

Malaysia won 5-3 against China to secure the bronze medal.

South Korean domination continued in the women’s team competition, as they emerged as comfortable winners.

Their squad, consisting of Ki Bo Bae, Lee Eun Gyeong and Choi Minseon, claimed a 6-2 win over Chinese Taipei in the final.

Bronze was claimed by China, after they thrashed India 6-0.

A hat-trick of South Korean team titles was earned when their men’s compound squad won 234-232 against India in the gold medal match.

The podium was rounded off by Chinese Taipei, who won 232-230 over Iran.

India ended South Korea’s gold rush by winning the women’s compound final 230-227 against their rivals.

Iran beat hosts Bangladesh 229-217 in the bronze medal match.

This year’s Asian Archery Championships offered cadet quota places for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Argentina’s capital Buenos Aires.

Akash secured a quota place for India by beating his team-mate Dhiraj Bommadevara 6-4 in the men’s cadet recurve final.

Aitthiwat Soithong won bronze to claim the second spot, with Kazakhstan’s Alikhan Mustrafin earning the final place for his country.

North Korea’s Kang Jin Hwa won the women’s event by beating Iran’s Sogand Rahmani in a tiebreak in the final.

The result gave both countries quota places, with the India claiming the final spot due to Himani winning 7-1 against Mongolia’s Bayasgalan Badamjunai in the bronze medal match.
