Li Chunjian and Shi Hao won the men’s team pushing event ahead of Sun Kaizhi and Liu, and Jin Jian and Li Yangyang.

In the women’s team pushing, Ying and He Xinyi finished first, with Huai the runner-up and Li Xingye and Peng the third-place finishers.

The Chinese Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association plans to include skeleton in next season’s national championships programme.

China's capital Beijing is due to host the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In February, Chinese President Xi Jinping urged the country's performances in snow sports to match those in ice events by the time the Games come round.

China have never won an Olympic medal in bobsleigh or skeleton.
