Belarusian-born Australian Lalita Yauhleuskaya won three gold medals as action resumed at the Oceania and Commonwealth Shooting Federations' Championships in Brisbane.

Yauhleuskaya, an Olympic gold medallist at Sydney 2000 before she then became an Australian citizen, clinched two individual titles and one team gold medal. 

She topped the podium in the Oceania and Commonwealth women's 25 metres pistol events at the revamped Belmont Shooting Complex.

The seven-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist shot an Oceania record of 25 hits in the Oceania Championships. 

Compatriot Elena Galiabovitch was two adrift in second place as the bronze went to New Zealand's Fiona Phillips, who scored 12 hits.

Yauhleuskaya also triumphed in the Commonwealth competition as she registered a total of 35 hits.

Galiabovitch was again forced to settle for the silver medal with a total of 32 hits. 

India took a bronze medal thanks to the efforts of Annuraj Singh, who rounded off the podium with 28 hits.

Yauhleuskaya and Galiabovitch joined compatriot Olivia Erickson to complete the Australian A team which sealed victory in the Oceania Championships team event.

They took the gold medal ahead of the Australian B squad, comprised of Hayley Chapman, Civon Smith and Alison Heinrich.

The bronze medals went the way of New Zealand, represented by Phillips, Samantha Nobes and Kay Perret.

The event is acting as a test event for the Belmont Shooting Complex after a series of upgrades were made to the venue, due to be used at next year's Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast, scheduled to take place between April 4 and 15.
