In July, the MNOC celebrated Olympic Day with a host of activities for local young people.

Held at the Burte Chono Plaza in front of the MNOC's headquarters, events were planned throughout the day with the cooperation of the National Sports Federations of karate, football, volleyball, badminton, baseball and softball, table tennis and athletics.

Olympic Day is dedicated to the founding of the international Olympic Movement by Pierre de Coubertin on June 23, 1894.

It aims to spread the ideals of the Olympic Movement and promote participation in sport across the globe regardless of age, gender or athletic ability.

Guests in attendance at the celebrations included Zagdsuren, Olympic medallists, Government representatives, foreign ambassadors and foreign embassy cultural representatives.
