A competition has been held to select special excursions and sightseeing programmes to take place during the Krasnoyarsk 2019 Winter Universiade.

Eight applications were submitted before being analysed by "experts in the field of tourism".

They took into account the "originality and novelty of the idea, as well as the possibility of its further implementation after the Games".

The winning applications, submitted by the company "IC Dialog", will now be responsible for organising tours for all participants at the Games in three years' time.

This will include visits to "unique sites" of the historic city centre, monuments of architecture and art, such as the Mira Square museum centre and the Victory Memorial museum

Tours around unique nature monuments such as Stolby Nature Reserve and Karaulnaya cave will also form part of tours.
