The National Olympic Committee of Albania (KOKSH) has overseen a cooperation agreement between the Sports University of Tirana (UST) and the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) School of Sport.

The agreement was signed in Rome, where the CONI School of Sport is based.

It pledges to engage and cooperate on the development of, and participation in, conferences, seminars and technical courses. 

Agron Cuka, a senior lecturer at UST, and Alberto Miglietta, managing director of CONI Servizi, were both in attendance.

A meeting between members of the two parties was followed by a visit to the CONI School of Sport premises.

The training programmes offered for coaches, technical specialists and sports managers were showcased.

The CONI School of Sport, founded in 1966 by then President Giulio Onesti, celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.

A number of key officials were present in Rome at a meeting to mark the occasion, including CONI head Giovanni Malagò and European Olympic Committees secretary general Raffaele Pagnozzi.
