Thomas Cook Sport has been signed up as an official supporter of cycling's Six Day Series.

As part of a three-year deal with Madison Sports Group, the owner and operator of the Six Day Series, the United Kingdom’s leading sports tour operator will offer a range of travel and hospitality packages for fans attending the London and Berlin legs of the 2017-18 competition.

Hospitality experiences for London and Berlin include seating just metres from the track, an overnight city stay, a complementary bar and a dedicated VIP entrance.

"We're proud to have partnered with Six Day Cycling and we're excited to grow this partnership with the event that personifies everything that is exciting and modern about the sport," Rob Slawson, head of Thomas Cook Sport, said.

"We can't wait to deliver first class sporting experiences to cycling fans in true Thomas Cook Sport style."

The international cycling competition sees 24 teams compete across four cities - Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen and London - with the top 12 teams qualifying for the final.

Travel packages are available now for London's Six Day events, which are scheduled to take place at the Lee Valley VeloPark on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from October 24 to 29.

Packages for the Berlin Velodrome will be available at a date yet to be confirmed.

"We are working incredibly hard to reinvent Six Day cycling and partnering with Thomas Cook Sport is an exciting step on that journey," Michael Gollner, chairman of Madison Sports Group, said.

"Six Day London is now well established on the UK sporting calendar and Six Day Berlin is the world's longest running Six Day event.

"With Thomas Cook Sport's help we will grow the Six Days into truly international events."

Belgian racers Kenny de Ketele and Moreno de Pauw clinched the inaugural Six Day Series title at this year's final in Mallorca.

They topped the podium in both London and Amsterdam, before finishing second in Berlin and Copenhagen.
