International sports consultants TSE Consulting have appointed Ronnie Hansen as the company’s new senior consultant and partner.

Hansen, who will be based in Odense in Denmark, has "extensive experience and knowledge in high profile event management", according to TSE.

He has worked on a number of major sporting events in the past, including the Tour de France Grand Départ, National Basketball Association (NBA) events and World Cups in triathlon.

Hansen previously worked as general manager for experience economy within the Mayor’s Office in Odense.

The Dane will be tasked with delivering large e-sport projects, as well as continuing to work with long-time clients the City of Odense, during the first phase of his role with TSE.

"It is a privilege to be joining the TSE team, their dedication to delivering excellence to their clients is well-known and I look forward to contributing to the team," Hansen said.

"I am confident that my expertise in events, especially within the area of e-sport, will add value to the firm and its clients."

TSE, which provides services to the public sector as well as international and national sports organisations, have welcomed the appointment of Hansen.

"We are very happy to welcome Ronnie on board," managing director Lars Haue-Pedersen said.

"His experience will help us in expanding our definition of sport events, from sport related festivals and concerts to e-sports, this will be a great asset for our current and future clients."

TSE Consulting, based in Lausanne, have several clients within the Olympic Movement, such as the International Cycling Union, the International Basketball Federation and the International Swimming Federation.

They also work with the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations, the International University Sports Federation and umbrella organisation SportAccord.
