Baseball and softball bodies in Europe and the Americas have elected new leaders.

In Serbia, the 40-nation Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) unanimously elected Didier Seminet of France as its President.

He will now replace The Netherlands' former President Jan Esselman on the Executive Committee of the World Baseball and Softball Confederation's (WBSC) baseball division.

The 37-nation European Softball Federation (ESF) selected the Czech Republic's Gabriel Waage as its new President, again by a unanimous verdict.

Waage, a member of the WBSC Softball Competition Commission, currently sits on the Czech National Olympic Committee Executive Board.

Elsewhere, Dominican Republic’s Tito Pereyra was unanimously elected President of the 29-nation Pan Am Baseball Confederation (COPABE) in Panama City.

He will replace Nicaragua’s Nemesio Porras on the Executive Committee of the WBSC baseball division.
