Sara Takanashi made it two victories from two in Hinzenbach as the International Ski Federation (FIS) Women's Ski Jumping World Cup continued on the Austrian hill.

The 20-year-old Japanese sensation is aiming for a fourth overall World Cup title and backed up her victory in the first competition of the weekend yesterday.

Takanashi recorded jumps of 89 metres and 92m for a winning points tally of 254.8.

She has now won eight out of the 14 World Cup competitions held this season.

Carina Vogt of Germany finished second, registering 250 points after her jumps of 88m and 91m.

Bronze went to Norway's Maren Lundby who jumped 85.5m and 89.5m for 245.2 points.

"I was surprised with my victory because my jumping was not so good today," said Takanashi. 

"I made a few mistakes. 

"Carina is a great competitor. 

"She is very strong both mentally and physically.

"Her jump was a good motivation for me."

Takanashi now sits on 1,195 World Cup points to lead the overall standings by 267 in front of team-mate Yuki Ito.

Lundby is third on 789 points.

In the men's World Cup, Stefan Kraft of Austria also made it back-to-back wins at Oberstdorf in Germany as ski flying action continued on the 225 metre hill.

The 23-year-old won the first event yesterday and also triumphed at the same hill in December, when it played host to the first leg of the Four Hills competition.

The victories are his only three this season, with today's win coming after a leap of 235.5m for 232.6 points. 

Germany's Andreas Wellinger was again second as he flew 238m for 220 points, with Slovenia's Jurij Tepes coming third thanks to a jump of 228m, good enough for 215.1 points.

Kraft is now third in the overall standings with 920 points, with the top two unchanged.

Poland's Kamil Stoch, ninth today, leads on 1,067 with Daniel Andre Tande of Norway, fourth today, second on 953.

The men's season will continue in Sapporo in Japan on February 11, with the women heading to Ljubno in Slovenia on the same date.
