Delegates from the host nation attended alongside staff from the NOCs of Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan, China and Saudi Arabia.

During the event, the representatives were shown around the capital city of Turkmenistan and the venues at the Ashgabat Olympic Complex which will feature during the Games, due to take place between September 17 and 27.

In the Complex, there are 30 different sites including 15 competition venues and the Athletes’ Village.

"We believe that the Complex will play a big role in delivering the best-ever Games and we look forward to welcoming representatives and spectators from all participating NOCs in September," said the Games’ Executive Committee chairman Dayanch Gulgeldiyev.

The Athletes’ Village has more than 4,600 bedrooms to house 5,500 competitors and 1,750 team officials.

There will also be space for 1,170 technical officials at the village.

Alongside athletes from 45 different NOCs in Asia, 17 countries from Oceania have also been invited to compete in Turkmenistan.
