The first topic discussed was good governance of sporting organisations, with a lecture from International Olympic Committee (IOC) representative Thierry Zintz.

Other sports ethics and sports management issues were also discussed.

The ICMG organise the Mediterranean Games every four years, for countries by or near to the Mediterranean Sea.

Countries from Europe, Africa and Asia compete with the next edition taking place next year in Tarragona in Spain.

Oran in Algeria will then play host in 2021, with Turkish port Mersin having hosted the last Games in 2013.
