The United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) has appointed Ellen Adams and Chris Packert to its Sport Education department.

Adams will become club development manager while Packert has signed up as coach development manager.

The USSA club consultant for the past two years, Adams has already been an "integral" part of the organisation's club certification process and the Club Excellence Conference.

She will be tasked with giving USSA clubs a "road-map" of what the best clubs are doing, in order to create "sustainable organisational excellence and high-quality athletic programming".

Packert will use his background in curriculum design to continue to develop USSA’s extensive coach education opportunities.
