Dates for the next four Council meetings of the International Skating Union (ISU) have been confirmed as the body seeks to continue the forward momentum since the election of new President Jan Dijkema.

This follows a meeting last week in Dubrovnik at which many of the decisions taken at the ISU Congress at which the Dutchman was elected were put into action.

The 13-member body, which was increased by two after a Congress decision, will next meet in Geneva from September 9 to 11.

They will then meet once again in the Swiss city, along Lake Geneva from the ISU headquarters in Lausanne, from October 14 to 16.

Further meetings have been arranged in Helsinki from March 26 to 28.

A fourth has then been scheduled for Dutch capital Amsterdam from June 2 to 4.

Issues on the agenda for these meetings are likely to focus around Dijkema's manifesto proposals, which prioritised good governance, an overhaul of the ISU development model, and finding means to improve the marketing of events.

Whether to agree a deal to participate in the Olympic TV Channel is another probable item up for discussion.

There will be no ISU Congress next year, with the next one coming at the end of Dijkema's two-year term in office in 2018.

It is expected to take place in either Barcelona or Seville in Spain.
