Ultimate Workout and Recovery has been announced as an official sponsor of the American National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA).

The Stuck in Bed Fitness company have a state-of-the-art rehab and workout gym designed specifically for those with physical disabilities, which will see them become the official wheelchair gym of the NWBA.

As part of the agreement, the NWBA will serve as an official distributor of the Ultimate Work and Recovery products, including the full-size spider unit that comes equipped with a smaller travel size viper edition.

The spider unit is a 100 use rehab and exercise system, which aims to provide a total body workout in dozens of unique ways, especially for those unable or wanting to go out.

It is claimed that the system allows people to exercise regularly right from their recliner, wheelchair or bed, while the travel viper system is perfect for on the go strength and cardio conditioning.

"This is such an honour and the NWBA is a perfect match for what we are all about," said Joseph Salamon, chief executive and chief marketing strategist at Stuck in Bed Fitness.

"Our fitness and complete exercise system is geared specifically for wheelchair users, whether short or long term.

“Everyone in the family can benefit from this new fitness equipment including mums, kids and seniors as well.

“We feel that our arrangement with the NWBA will allow their players and family members of any age or stage to stay in tip-top condition and get stronger whenever they would like to, and inspire others to join teams and develop further while expanding the NWBA and Stuck in bed fitness reach.''

The spider and viper products have been endorsed by renowned wellness chief at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Michael Roizen, and former New England Patriot linebacker Pierre Woods.

Stuck in Bed Fitness have also announced that their new foundation has been set up to enable other foundations and rehab clinic centres to bulk purchase the units at a special discounts.
