American athletes claimed two gold medals in Para-athletics events at the 2015 International Military Sports Council (CISM) World Games while fencing and shooting medals were also claimed in the South Korean city of Mungyeong.

Brown’s triumph was replicated by his compatriot Ivan Sears in the D-Class competition as he completed the 100m distance in 16.25 to edge out The Netherlands’ Jacky Pastora for gold, with the American’s rival finishing in 17.93.

An American hat-trick in the Para-athletics events was denied after France’s Alain Akakpo produced the fastest time in the B and C-Class final after crossing the line after 12.09 seconds, with Germany’s Tim Focken and Maik Mutschke securing the remaining medals after posting times of 12.93 and 14.27.
