Both countries came through semi-finals yesterday to book their spots in the 2015 final, with Britain seeing off Australia and Belgium defeating Argentina.

According to the Davis Cup regulations, they are automatically seeded one and two for the World Group for the following year, and will be drawn in opposite halves.

The British have been named as top seeds by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) with Belgium ranked second.

It caps a remarkable rise for an Andy Murray inspired Britain as if they'd lost a clash with Turkey in 2010 they would have been relegated to the Davis Cup's lowest tier.

Belgium, meanwhile, have not played in the Davis Cup final for more than a century after last appearing in 1904.

Britain haven't featured in the showpiece of the international team competition since 1978.

The Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, Argentina, Serbia and Australia complete the World Group seeds, in that order.

Seeded nations will be drawn against the remaining World Group nations, Canada, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Poland and USA.

The draw is set to take place at the ITF's annual general meeting in Chile's capital Santiago on Wednesday.

Draws for 2016 Americas Zone Group I, Asia/Oceania Zone Groups I and II, and Europe/Africa Zone Group I will also take place.

This year's final takes place over three days from November 27, with Belgium set to host on clay at The Flanders Expo Arena in Ghent.
