The country qualified a fighter for the last four in all five weight categories being contested in the Thai capital - with everyone who reached the last  four now guaranteed a medal.

Olzhas Sattibayev progressed in the men's flyweight class as he saw off Turkmenistan's Zarip Jumayev on a unanimous decision, while at welterweight Daniyar Yeleussinov beat China's Wei Liu, also by getting the verdict from all three judges.

At light-heavyweight there was a 3-0 scorecard success for Kazakh Adilbek Niyazymbetov against Syria's Alaa Eldin Ghoussoun and at super heayweight level Ivan Dychko got the verdict from all three judges against Uzbek Bakhodir Jalolov.

The final Kazakhstan success came at lightweight level where Zakir Safiullin defeated North Korea's Chol Guk Kwon via unanimous decision.

Elsewhere in the flyweight class, Azat Usenaliev of Kyrgyzstan overcame The Philippines' Ian Bautista on points, while China's Jianguan Hu beat North Korea's Chung Ri via technical knock-out.

The final flyweight semi-finalist to book their place was Uzbekistan's Shakhobidin Zoirov who won a points decision against Indian Madan Lal.

At welterweight, the last four was completed by Tuvshinbat Byamba of Mongolia who beat Iran's Amin and Japan's Yasuhiro Suzuki who defeated Turkmenistan's Timur Tajimov, both by unanimous decision, as well as The Phillippines' Eumir Marcial who won 2-1 on the scorecards against Thailand's Saylom Ardee.

There were light heavyweight quarter final victories for Iran's Hassan Shahini who progressed by TKO against Bhutan's Tashi Norbu, Uzbek Elshod Rasulov who won by unanimous decision against Kyrgyzstan fighter Erkin Uulu Adylbek and South Korea's Kim Hyeongkyu who was too good for Indian Kuldeep Singh by way of two to one on the scorecards.

In the super heavyweight division Dychko was joined by Jordan's Hussein Eishaish Iashaish who won unanimously against Sri Lankan Lahiru Tharanga Ratnadiwakara, as well as Indian Satish Kumar who scored a TKO success over Tajikistan's Siyovush Zukhurov.

Also through is China's Wang Zhibao who won 2-1 on the scorecards against Iran's Abdolmajid Sepahvandi.

At lightweight level, Mongolia's Otgondalai Dorjnyambuu won by unanimous decision against Thai Pachanya Longchin and Uzbekistan's Elnur Abduraimov saw off Iran's Forootan Golara by the same method.

Japan's Daisuke Narimatsu joined them in the last four with a 2-1 scorecard victory over Vietnam's Hai Van Nguyen.
