The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) have launched a new social media campaign titled “Faces of Living Sport” which aims to offer the public a glimpse into how sport plays a role in the lives of Jordanian people.

The campaign is centred around the JOC’s Living Sport initiative, designed to address concerns over the nation's collective health and well-being by making sport and healthy living a part of their daily lives.

As a result the social media strategy is set to utilise stories of ordinary Jordanians, with the hope that the wider public with identify with the message and start to exercise as a consequence.

The JOC will compile stories over the coming weeks by talking to a variety of people about their experiences of sport and what heathy living means to them.

Their responses and several photos will be posted on the JOC’s official Facebook page to help spread the desired message of Living Sport.

Additionally their Twitter and Instagram pages will also be used in the social media campaign to generate further interest and encourage members of the public to exercise.

While the initiative aims at increasing participation in sport throughout the country the JOC have stressed people do not necessarily need to be athletic or fit to exercise, but believe living healthy is a lifestyle that anyone can choose.
