Following success at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, and the corresponding shooting and sailing World Championships, Team GB are already up to 25 quota places for Rio 2016.

Two four-person teams were secured after silver medals in the eventing and dressage events, before Ed Ling and Elena Allen claimed shooting silvers in the men's trap and women's skeet respectively to increase the tally to 10.

Great Britain then enjoyed a productive sailing world championships in Santander, ensuring places in each of the 10 events.
