Red Bull have been announced as the tenth Official Supporter of the Baku 2015 European GamesEnergy drink giants Red Bull have been announced as the 10th Official Supporter of the Baku 2015 European Games.

The company will promote Baku 2015 on their social media channels in the build-up to the inaugural Games, which will take place from June 12 to June 28 in the Azerbaijani capital.

They will also help by raising awareness of some of the lesser-known sports which will form part of the competition programme at Baku 2015, such as canoe sprint, beach volleyball, cycling, beach soccer, 3x3 basketball and fencing.

Red Bull will provide entertainment at a range of the venues, including the Athletes' Village, by providing access to some of their most well-known DJs.

"Red Bull is a globally recognised brand who will bring their distinctive style to the first ever European Games," Baku 2015 chief operating officer Simon Clegg said.

"They also boast an excellent track record of delivering successful events in Azerbaijan.

"They join other renowned international and Azerbaijani brands partnering and supporting this exciting addition to the sporting calendar."

The energy drink company have experience of partnering events in Azerbaijan as they supported the Thre3style world DJ championship final and the Flying Bach, a dance performance which combines breakdance with modern ballet.

These events were last legs of world tours and were well received in Baku as multiple nights of both shows were sold out.

Red Bull become the latest company to partner with the ground-breaking European Games, and they join the likes of McDonald's Azerbaijan and Nestlé on the ever-growing list of Official Supporters.

Other Official Supporters include food producer Azersun Holding and supermarket chain Bazarstore, both of who are well-established names in Azerbaijan, as well as Milla, Motorola Solutions, NAZ, Sitecore and Tickethour.
