Having clinched victories over Argentina and Brazil in their opening matches of the tournament, which is acting as a warm-up to the Parapan Am Games, which is due to start on August 7, the US faced Argentina again.

They extended their good start with a 62-32 triumph, with Carter Arey and Chris Okon scoring twelve points apiece for the Americans on their path to victory in the Mattamy Athletic Centre.

Paralympic gold medallists and hosts Canada, saw their unbeaten record come to an end after they fell to defeat to Brazil, in a rematch of their opening game of the tournament which ended 76-64 in the Canadians favour.

Their second meeting proved to be a different story entirely, as the Canadian team struggled with the accuracy of their shooting, only scoring 11 points in the final two quarters of the match.

By contrast, the Brazilian team made the most of their opportunities, with Luciano Silva helping himself to 24 points, on their way to a comprehensive 61-33 victory.

Brazil will now hope to significantly test the US in tomorrow's match having lost 81-57 to the Americans earlier in the tournament, while Canada will look to get back to winning way when they face Argentina for the second time.

The final day of the five-day tournament will see South American rivals Argentina and Brazil meet for the first time, while Canada are set to face the US.
