While the Astana Arlans Kazakhstan continued their unbeaten record, last year's WSB runners up the Azerbaijan Baku Fires recorded their fourth successive victory to move into second in the Group B table.

Their latest victims were Caciques Venezuela, who left the Guba Olympic Complex in Azerbaijan's capital without a victory to their credit, as the Baku Fires boxers dominated in every bout of the evening.

Magomed Gurbanov, Gaybatulla Gadzhialiyev and Jaba Khositashvili were awarded unanimous points wins by the judges in their respective bantamweight, light welterweight and middleweight fights.

Debutant Javid Dadashov claimed a third round technical knockout of Venezuelan light flyweight Angelino Rafael Cordova Martinez, while Abdulkadir Abdullayev secured the whitewash after knocking out Venezuela's overseas fighter Willy Kyakonye in the first round of their heavyweight encounter.

The Baku Fires victory saw them leapfrog the USA Knockouts in the Group B table, after the Knockouts fell to an away defeat to Italia Thunder in Roseto Degli Abruzzi.

Italia Thunders overseas boxers Patrick Barnes and Michael Conlon, both from Ireland, set them on the way to victory and increased their hopes of qualifying for Rio 2016 by claiming victories in the light flyweight and bantamweight divisions respectively.

Barnes' triumph over Merik Elliston, was his fifth successive WSB win and moves him to the top of the individual light flyweight rankings, with the top two at the end of the season earning Rio 2016 berths, while Conlon is now third in the bantamweight standings.

Italia Thunder secured a whitewash on the night following as Vincenzo Mangiacapre, Salavtore Cavallaro and Fabio Turchi earned wins in the light welterweight, middleweight and heavyweight divisions.

In the final Group B fixture of the weekend the Puerto Rico Hurricanes inflicted a 4-1 defeat on the Argentina Condors, who are still yet to win this season, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Condor's boxer Dario Alcapan was disqualified in the heavyweight division to give the Hurricane's Gabriel Richards the fight, while the Hurricane's went 2-0 up as Anthony Chacon Riveria had a walkover in the light flyweight.

Piero Carloni got the Condor's off the mark with a split decision win over Garibaldy Gomez in the bantamweight division, but it proved to be their only success, after Christian Mbilli Assomo and Jan Rivera secured victories in the middleweight and light welterweight divisions for the Hurricanes.
