The season's finals also saw Switzerland's Lucien Koch win the men's slopestyle, but Finland's Janne Korpi was crowned overall World Cup champion.

The course was well suited to Koch, as it featured a halfpipe section, with the Swiss having come from a halfpipe background.

He used his experience to good effect with the judges awarding him a score of 94.25, which was enough to finish ahead of Korpi and Petja Piiroinen of Finland, who secured 93.00 and 89.25 respectively to earn second and third.

"I like this course a lot include the pipe, that's really sick," Koch said.

"Two years ago I was riding pipe a lot, now I am riding more slopestyle and I am really happy if I can combine the two.

Korpi's second place finished ensured that he ended the season as both the slopestyle and overall Freestyle World Cup standings winner.
