SportAccord have announced a new partnership with WISE ahead of the second edition of the WISE Convention ©SportAccordSportAccord have announced they have signed an agreement with Work in Sports Exhibition (WISE) ahead of the second edition of WISE Lausanne, due to take place on May 6 and 7.

As part of the deal, WISE are set to feature an active showcase of the SportAccord Academy and SportAccord director general and multi-sports games Director Vlad Marinescu will now be included in panel discussions at WISE Forum.

At the annual event, SportAccord will offer the WISE delegates the chance to participate in a massive online open course (MOOC), which will give any attendees further insight into how each sports federation works.

"The sports world is relatively close knit and we are delighted to partner with WISE 2015 to better interact and engage with the members of the global sports industry," Marinescu said.

"This partnership will enable SportAccord to better represent the interests of our member federations by interacting with and inspiring future sports professionals."

SportAccord will have a strong presence at the WISE event in May and they will demonstrate their activities and interests to those who decent to attend, with the deal set to be hugely beneficial to both organisations.

The full conference programme is due to be announced on the WISE website soon and SportAccord themselves are also set to reveal special benefits for its member International Sports Federations.

"We are really delighted to partner up with such an internationally recognised world governing body as SportAccord," Giancarlo Sergi, WISE director, said.

"Throughout our collaboration, we will be able to exchange best practices and expertise from and for sports leaders of international sports federations through WISE's proactive sharing platform."
