The defending Olympic and world champion won her seventh luge race of the season to take her overall tally to 30 and move her up to fourth in the list of all-time greats behind Germany's Sylke Otto and Silke Kraushaar-Pielach, who have long since retired, and active German luger Tatjana Hüfner.

Geisenberger, beaten once on the international circuit this post-Olympic winter, led the third German clean-sweep of the weekend as she recorded 1min, 53.829sec to beat compatriots Dajana Eltberger by 0.195 and Anke Wischnewski by 0.342.

"I'm not getting bored at winning," said Geisenberger.

"I just try to focus on each race and to give my best each time."

Geisenberger now sits a comfortable 244 points above Eltberger on the overall World Cup leaderboard with 770 points, while Hüfner, who crashed out on her first run today, is third with 491 points.

Geisenberger returned to action later in the day where she led the German relay team to a fourth win in four races and put them on the verge of retaining their overall World Cup title.

The Olympic champions, consisting of Geisenberger, Felix Loch and doubles duo Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken, recorded combined time of 2:26.434 to beat Austria's Birgit Platzer, Reinhard Egger and Peter Penz and Georg Fischler, and Russia's Ekaterina Baturina, Stepan Fedorov and Alexandr Denisyev and Vladislav Antonov.

The German quartet now sit 110 points ahead of the United States on the overall leaderboard and 150 above Russia.
