Having finished ninth in the first World Cup event of the season in Ruka, Finland, Kingsbury bounced back in emphatic fashion with two superb runs. 

His final run score of 85.78 points saw him finish 2.86 points ahead of teammate Simon Pouliot-Cavanagh, who registered his best World Cup result to date.

"I was really happy to have my best run in the super final," Olympic silver medallist Kingsbury told the FIS.

"It feels really good to get my fifth win in a row here.

"It's kind of crazy, to have a streak like that."

Japan's Sho Endo came into the men's finals as the highest-ranked skier following an impressive qualification run, and despite ending up in third position, his second podium of the season puts him top of the overall World Cup standings.

In the women's event, the United States' Hannah Kearney led from start to finish, qualifying with the top score of the day and finishing a second faster than any of her competitors in her final run.

Speaking after her triumph, Kearney, who is expected to retire at the end of the season, told the FIS: "It was really fun to ski this course today.

"We got really lucky with some snow over night that made an otherwise super challenging mogul course a little easier.

"My best run was first run of the day, which is actually not the way things usually go for me, but still I was able to put a good one together in the big final and take the win."

Canada's Chloe Dufour-Lapointe finished in second place to leave her level on points with Kearney at the top of the World Cup leaderboard, while her sister Justine came third.
