As the 200 Days To Go mark ticks ever closer, delegates from FISU are making the seven-day visit to Gwangju, beginning today, to ensure the smooth operation of the Games.

Delegates will visit multiple venues and have meetings with a number of functional areas to review the preparation and progress of the Gwangju 2015 Universiade.

With 205 days to go until the Universiade, representatives from the Gwangju 2015 Organising Committee are keen to discuss areas such as transportation, accommodation, catering and the Athletes' Village with their FISU counterparts.

Also on the agenda will be meetings centred on the Observer Programme, delegation services, competition entries and competition equipment as organisers begin the final leap towards Games-readiness.

"As the last FISU inspection of the year covering over 70 areas, this visit is extremely important for our transition towards our next stage, 'venualization'," said Kim Yoon-suk, secretary general of Gwangju 2015.

Joining the FISU representatives in Gwangju will be 14 delegates from the 2017 Taipei Summer Universiade Organising Committee as they look ahead to their Games in three years time.
