"The children will experience the unique Olympic atmosphere first hand," said EYOF 2015 chief executive Philipp Groborsch.

"Hopefully this will motivate some of them to pursue their sport activities."

The Vorarlberger Sparkasse bank is sponsoring the project and the Torch Relay in the run-up to the multi-sport event.

"Worthwhile recreational activities offer great stimuli to young people," said Werner Böhler, spokesman of the Vorarlberger Sparkasse.

"The Sparkasse feels responsible for future generations, so we gladly support this unique school sport challenge during the EYOF."
