In the BC1 competition, Great Britain's London 2012 silver medallist David Smith defeated Thailand's Witsanu Huadpradit 9-2 to land the gold medal after overcoming The Netherlands' Daniel Perez, who beat Thailand's Paralympic champion Pattaya Tadtong in the bronze medal match, 4-2 in the semi-final.

Thai London 2012 Paralympic team champion Vongsa Watcharaphon was dominant throughout in the BC2 and beat Chinese Paralympic silver medallist Zhiqiang Yan in the final by an impressive score line of 10-1. 

Maciel Santos, the Paralympic champion in the class, claimed the bronze medal for Brazil.

In the BC3, South Korea's Han-Soo Kim beat compatriot Ho-Won Jeong in the final, coming out on top in a tie break after the match had finished level at 2-2.

Britain's Jacob Thomas defeated Greece's London 2012 mixed pairs gold medallist Grigorios Polychronidis in the bronze medal match. 

Hong Kong's Leung Yuk-Wing beat Brazilian Paralympic gold medallist Eliseu dos Santos in the final of the BC4, with South Korea's Hyeon Seok Seo claiming the bronze at the expense of Canada's Marco Dispaltro.
