Despite no medal races taking place on the final day of the Championships in Mielno due to a lack of winds, the 17-year-old picked up his three titles as he led each of the standings after five days of racing.

The Briton, who claimed World Championship bronze last month in Istanbul, finished ahead of Spaniard Florian Trittel in both the under-21 and main men's competitions.

In Mielno, Riccardo Leccese of Italy will no doubt be disappointed with his third in the overall standings after claiming silver in Istanbul.

Home favourite Maks Zakowski took under-21 bronze, while Bridge was trailed in the under-18 standings by Alexander Bachev of Bulgaria and Croatian Martin Dolenc.

In the open Masters competition, Polish fans were celebrating as Tomek Janiak took the gold ahead of Lithuania's Viktoras Seputa and German Erwin Gruber.

Russian Elena Kalinina was crowned the new women's European champion, denying Poland another gold medal by holding off the challenge of Aga Grzymska, with bronze going to Kalinina's compatriot Tatiana Sysoeva.

Kalinina, 17, is another of the rising stars in kiteboarding as she followed up her World Championship silver medal with the win in Mielno.
