The opening Parade is due to be held on February 14 2015, with races from February 15 to February 19, ahead of Bormio's annual Carnival celebrations.

The team parallel slalom, which made its debut at the 18th Championships this year, will return and run alongside the established programme of British and international races.

Rising stars of English Alpine skiing will be given a platform to battle it out with their peers across the different disciplines at the event.

For the first time, most of the children's races will be moved to the Adler pister in the Oga area of the resort.

The Parade, which opens the Championships, sees the teams walk through the streets of Bormio before a symbolic flame is lit.

The slalom is due to open competition on February 15, with the giant slalom the following day and super-G on February 17.

It has been scheduled to coincide with what will be the school holidays for the majority of the racers.
