The hosts picked up two gold medals on day four of the FILA Asian Wrestling Championships in Astana ©FILAApril 26 - There was double delight for Kazakhstan on day four of the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA) Asian Championships as the hosts walked home with two gold medals at the Daulet Sports Complex.

The first of these medals came through London 2012 bronze medallist and women's head wrestling coach Guzel Manyurova as she rounded off the freestyle competition with a tight 7-6 victory over Chinese emerging star Feng Zhou in the closing seconds of the 75 kilogram weight category.

The two bronze medals in this final freestyle competition were picked up by India's Joyti Joyti and Japan's Hiroe Suzuki.

The result ensured Japan finished atop the women's freestyle team standings with 66 points, just two points clear of China in second, whilst Mongolia rounded off the top three on 57 points.

Kazakhstan's second gold came in the heaviest weight category of the day as Nursultan Tursunov needed just 41 seconds to dispose of Uzbekistan's Rustam Assakalovin in the 85kg Greco-Roman event.

Kumar Manoj collected one of India's three bronze medals of the day in the first of the category's play-off finals, whilst Karimfar Mojitaba secured the second for Iran.

Kazakhstani fans were left disappointed in the Greco-Roman 71kg contest as local favourite Maxat Erezhepov lost by criteria to South Korea's Jihyun Jung, leaving him to settle for silver.

Yadav K K added to India's medal tally in the first of the bronze medal matches as he overcame Nekruz Mirkhojaev of Tajikistan, whilst in the second Kyrgyzstan's Kairat Tugolbaev triumphed over China's Ri Dong Zhang.

After beating North Korea's 2013 world champion Chol Yun Won in an incredible 59kg semi-final, Japan's Shinobu Ota was felled by Elmurat Tasmuradov of Uzbekistan in the final with a 10-2 technical fall.

Yun Won bounced back from his semi-final loss to take the first of the bronze medals, with Kanybek Zholchubekov adding a second bronze for Kyrgyzstan.
