January 10 - Delegates have the chance to book reduced price passes for the SportAccord International Convention taking place in April ©SportAccord ConventionDelegate passes for the 2014 SportAccord International Convention are now on offer at a special rate of CHF 1,995 (£1340/$2210/€1617) as part of an early booking offer running until January 31 for the Convention taking place in Belek, Turkey.

Originally launched in 2003, this year's SportAccord International Convention will see more than 1,500 representatives from across the international sporting world gather for the week-long event which is due to run from April 6 to 11 at the Susesi Convention Centre in Belek.

Delegate passes will be priced at CHF 2,500 (£1,680/$2,769/€2,026) from February 1 once the early booking offer ends.

The 2014 Convention will consist of congresses and general assemblies of more than 100 international sports federations, with sponsors, host and bid cities of international sporting events, architects, sports lawyers, broadcasters and Games Organising Committees also attending to discuss key issues affecting the industry.

Among the highlights of this year's Convention will be the "Rule-Breakers and Game-Changers" interactive session where attendees can debate what they would do if they could change the rules of one sport, while "The Youth Club" will take a look at what today's young people really think about sport and how they consume it.

There will also be a a panel session on "The New Face of Leadership", which will bring together some of the most influential new leaders assuming guiding roles in the world of sport, while a plenary session on "The Integrity Issue" will focus on cheating in sport and explore potential solutions for both international federations and sponsors.

Delegates will get the opportunity to "come together on a global scale, in an exclusive and authoritative networking environment, to build relationships, share knowledge and develop ideas that will benefit the international sports community," claim organisers.

SportAccord International Convention was created and is owned by SportAccord, the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) and the Association of International Olympic Winter Federations (AIOWF).
