December 20 - Nike has revealed the uniforms to be worn by United States Olympic and Paralympic medallists as they climb the podium at the Sochi 2014 Winter Games.
On the podium, competitors will wear silver, futuristic Aeroloft 800 Summit jackets, filled with goose-down and featuring micro laser perforations for ventilation, with Tech trousers for men and the Sculpt Tight for women.
On their feet, athletes will be wearing Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSB boots, which feature a wool lining for a combination of both warmth and lightness.
The items are embroidered with patriotic messages reading "Land of the Free" and "Home of the Brave", inscribed on the inside hand pockets of the jackets and printed on the insoles of the shoes over the famous stars and stripes of the US flag.
The company also revealed its new US training and Athletes' Village wear, which includes the Tech Fleece Cape with a dropped back hem for women - a leather-sleeved version is also available - and the Tech Fleece 3.0 Hoodie for men.
The new range will be available on the Nike website in the New Year, with the jacket released for general sale in January and the trainers in February.
