The Jersey Volleyball Association and Jersey Open Tournament founder will be responsible for organising and "signing off" more than forty elements for the sport at what will be his third Paralympics, after carrying out the same role at London 2012 and acting as assistant referee delegate at Beijing 2008.

Among his tasks will be the management of the competition format and schedules, venue and equipment, the appointment of Games officials, television and press arrangements, match entertainment and presentation, accreditation, and security and contingency plans.

Le Breuilly refereed able-bodied volleyball in the top division of the English National League for twenty-five years and was introduced to sitting volleyball by former Disability Sport England chief executive Gordon Neale in 1991.

The following year he qualified as an international referee and continued working on matches until his retirement, when he reached the age limit, in 2001.

He then increased his administrative duties and in 2010 was appointed to his current role as World ParaVolley sport director, which also sees him managing the Rio 2016 qualifying events, which begin with the World Championships in Poland next June.
