June 25 - Lora Turnham and Corinne HallBritish Cycling has announced the four riders that will represent Great Britain at the International Cycling (UCI) Para-Cycling Road World Championships in Baie-Comeau, Canada, which is due to take place from August 29 to September 1, this year.

Following their success at the recent World Cup in Segovia, Spain, where they won gold in the road race and time trial events, Lora Turnham and new pilot Corinne Hall (pictured) will compete in the tandem discipline.

Dame Sarah Storey has also been named in the squad.

However; the six-time Olympic gold medal winning cyclist is due to give birth to her first child in the coming weeks, and her place in the squad will be subject to a performance test prior to the official team being submitted to the UCI.

Reigning Paralympic road race champion David Stone and six times Paralympic champion Darren Kenny complete the British squad for the event.

Britain's Para-cycling performance manager Gareth Sheppard said: "The Para-Cycling Road World Championships are the season target for our road focussed athletes and the first year of the Paralympic cycle provides a benchmark to see how the riders can perform against world-class competition."
