NewsImage 1April 21 - Badminton Europe have announced the appointment of Andrey Antropov from Russia as their new vice-President, as President Poul-Erik Høyer of Denmark earns another term at the helm.

The appointment was made at the Annual Delegates' Meeting in Bratislava, attended by representatives from 39 countries.

Antropov takes over from Hans Lenkert of Sweden, who served in the role for six years, as one of Badminton Europe's three vice-Presidents.

The meeting approved changes to the Confederation's rules and regulations and accepted the budget for 2013 and financial forecasts for 2014 and 2015.

Former BEC and BWF President Stellan Mohlin from Sweden and former Council member Frank Wilson from England were invited to the meeting as guests of honour, alongside the likes of long-serving former General Secretary Gisela Hoffman, former Council member Irene Delvai and former Vice-President Jadwiga Slawska-Szalwicz.
