The US was fifth prior to the event but after picking up 18 team medals following the week's competition they jumped to the top of the rankings.

In all they picked up four gold medals, six silver and eight bronze.

It was an impressive performance from the US in a tightly fought leg of the World Cup calendar, with several of their Paralympic athletes now heading their individual discipline rankings.

Alana Nichols (pictured) leads in the women's downhill sitting and super-G sitting, Christopher Devlin-Young heads the men's super-G sitting rankings, and Stephani Victor is top of the women's giant slalom sitting standings and slalom sitting.

The next stage of the World Cup takes place in Panorama, Canada, on March 13 until 16.
